CFBI Training Cum Rehabilitation

C.F.B.I. Training-Cum-Rehabilitation Centre for Disabled Women

Established in 1980, this centre is dedicated to providing training and rehabilitation for blind, disabled, and destitute women in the community. It offers comprehensive instruction in a variety of vocational skills, including weaving plastic wire bags in different designs, tailoring, candle moulding, and other practical trades.

In addition to vocational training, residents receive education in essential life skills such as cooking, cleaning, and household management. The primary goal of the centre is to empower blind and disabled women to become self-reliant and live with dignity.

The C.F.B.I. Training-Cum-Rehabilitation Centre also provides free food and accommodation to its residents. The project is entirely self-managed by the organisation and relies solely on the generous donations of friends and well-wishers. At present, the centre supports 10 women inmates.
